My story so far:
For 23 years I worked in various executive roles in the financial services industry, my last role being in the Wealth Management division within National Australia Bank as the State Manager for NSW.

Many of my roles provided overseas postings, working within joint ventures and delivering to sales targets and bottom line results…..the pace was exciting, my life was always filled with some new project and financially I was enjoying the rewards it provided however, with these demands came a very high expectation of delivery and the stresses that this can provide.
For the most part I love my job however in the last 4 years in my role of State Manager, I also participated in a leadership team that felt they needed to let me know how to run my state. This brought its own pressures –
harassment, bullying and exclusion and ultimately, it took its toll on my physical health.
This was so evident 2 years prior leaving the bank when on a holiday I woke up every hour on the hour, a sign that my adrenal system was in complete overload.
Something needed to change
– however, I held the role of the breadwinner, and felt a responsibility of keeping the life and standards we had got used to. I stay on for a further 2 years, a little longer then I should have until finally another health scare helped my make the decision to leave.
In the meantime, I had taken to learning about the world of holistic health
and in particular-energy healing (an industry that not too many people have either experienced or fully appreciate) and it was through the tools and techniques acquired I was able to manage a rather difficult period of change and come out the other side – in a positive way.
It would be fair to say, I’m now living a life that is 100% congruent to who I am, however this came with a lot of times of being brave enough to take a “step” into the unknown and face into my fears of embracing change.
So in the past 1.5 years, I have been working with others that are either facing a significant change or are wanting a change, this could range from a chronic illness, relationship breakdown to a business idea. Combining my years of coaching and goal oriented focus with my understanding of energy, and the mind body connection.
I am now in the process of refining what I learnt into a transformational program that will provide people going through change a solid platform that will assist them to navigate through it, and ultimately feel empowered rather than overpowered by it.
In sharing my story to others, I hope I can assist them through their times of change or be an example of what can happen if trust yourself, and follow your dream.
